The New Jerusalem is the ultimate reward, don’t you want to go!!

Don’t miss out on the New Jerusalem, only those in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be invited to enter!

Revelation 21:15-27

15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia[a] in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits[b] thick.[c] 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.[d] 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

This is not a fantasy, some amazing vocalist sings about this the true divine event that is to come, HE is coming very soon! Jesus is Coming!

Revelation 22:7-21

7 “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”

8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”

10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near. 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”

Epilogue: Invitation and Warning

12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

The King will live 4 ever!

Revelation 1:18 (18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades).

The final book of the Bible is Revelation authored by John of Patmos (AKA John the Revelator). The book was written to prepare and strengthen the believers (Christians) to remain faithful and focused on the promise GOD created for His followers. To stand strong in times of persecution and what is to come when the LORD returns.

The book is significant, yet many Christians have not read the text of Revelations due to fear of what is to come, the finality of the world, and the sinful evil world that has represented such pain and suffering to all. The truth is it was written for our blessing (Rev 1:3) 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it because the time is near. Like all content in the Bible, it was written to communicate the LORD’s message to His people regarding the specific judgment of mankind.

We are to rebuke the spirit of fear and embrace the reverence GOD deserves, glorifying His name and welcoming the judgment of humanity. Believers should be reminded that they are blessed and loved by GOD. The book’s intention is to advise believers that the LORD’s return completes the ultimate promise for persecuted Christians. This judgment is for both non-believers and GOD’s people. The comforting news is believers already acknowledge the final destination; the eternal Kingdom, with rest and peace; dependent upon our salvation and faithfulness.

The Son of Man will never die, He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The text informs us we are at risk of eternal death if our names are not written in the Lamb’s book of life. So as we endure our journey in the land of the living, continue to contend for the faith, and be excited for what is to come in the eternal Kingdom; the Lord has prepared us well to receive his promise. Staying committed to Lord’s plan and His post-earthly life for His sons and daughters is crucial, be encouraged and stand ready. Although words that are written out of the book of Revelation seem like a science fiction movie, the message and symbolism are not.

Be not dismayed, GOD’s love and glory are upon us 4 ever!!

Remember, one with GOD is the Majority!

Don’t worry, experience GOD’s Joy, it’s real!

As we close out the year, think about your salvation in a serious manner. Where are you on a belief scale 1-10? No one can force you to choose the righteous ways of the Kingdom. The LORD brings you a new chance at life, a new day you did not create or deserve, another day in the land of the living. No, there is nothing you did, it was through the LORD’s grace and mercy. Throughout the year this blog has focused on many topics about personal salvation. The most important fact, there is only ONE way to the Kingdom of Heaven. When the body dies, the soul will live on forever. The choice becomes whether you will spend it into eternity. There is no alternative place, it’s either Heaven of hell. Do not fool yourself. Some people say and believe everyone is welcomed into the eternal Kingdom. That is true but ONLY if you have accepted the Son of Man, Jesus Christ as your personal Savior before you transition.

The LORD tells us to not be anxious about your life. What you will eat, drink, or about your body, what you will wear, life is more than food and clothing and material things (Matt 6 :25.) Worrying and being anxious cannot add a single hour to your life, it’s not yours to covet. Your life is not your own (1 Corinthians Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;). The LORD knows our needs don’t worry about them, think of the Kingdom of GOD first and He will supply all of them.

Joy comes when we remain in the LORD’s light, turning away from the world’s darkness. We are called to follow the new commands and turn away from the world and all it has to offer. The Word of GOD tells us anyone who admires the world hates the LORD. When we turn away from the LORD we follow our own worldly desires and fail to revere the Kingdom of GOD.

Christ wants us to experience perfect peace. He is trustworthy and wants us to rest in the midst of this troubled world. This beautiful rest is always available to us. Pay attention to Him, surrender to His Will. When we ignore the message worry seeps in causing us to miss life’s daily Blessings.

Remember, one with GOD is the Majority!

Why do we continue to do it?

How many times has GOD told us not to show prejudice and discrimination? Why do we still do it? The sinful heart is something we were born with but our actions are worldly and our choice to harm others. We try to make excuses like this:

-I’m not a racist, those people just don’t understand us

-Or we can send millions of dollars to other countries to support a war, but we can’t pay for hungry children to have a daily meal

-Or we won’t give homeless people housing

-Or I would vote for him but he is gay

-Or the Bible tells us to hate Jews and other religions

-Or vote for white nationalism

-Or treating a citizen to a different standard for the same crime

-Or killing unarmed people

-Or attacking innocent people

-Or choosing to be a political evangelical following legalism instead of the true Holy Gospel…..I can go on for hours

These are untruths and lies… GOD NEVER told us to do any of those things. HE is the only judge of our sins. Please refrain from this mindset and behavior. Stop justifying sinful ways to display our behavior. HE calls us to stand on HIS absolute truth, not the world’s relative truth. If you’re not sure what that is then pick up a Bible, read the guidelines and GOD’s laws, spend some time in the Great Book. Stop standing for legalism, (dependency on moral worldly law rather than the True Holy Gospel of CHRIST) you can’t serve both, choose HIM today!

James 2:1-92 My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. 2 Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. 3 If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” 4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? 7 Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?

8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,”[a] you are doing right. 9 But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.

End your friendship with the world, it’s the enemy of the LORD and serve HIM today. Christ Jesus our LORD wants all HIS children to be saved and come to know HIS truth, as it will set you free all the time.

Turn away from your old heart and use the new one the LORD provided to you. Stand up against evil ! 1Tim 4:2Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

Keep your focus on the 3 most important things to follow Jesus Christ; believe in the Cross-the Banner of Blood, forgiveness & repenting, and embrace the Holy Spirit, let the LORD do the rest.

The Season of giving!

The divine story of giving comes through the Birth of JESUS CHRIST. The little fellow’s birth was prophesied and written about throughout the Bible. There are many songs about the great miracle that took place in the City of David, yet the message has gotten lost in the worldly meaning of the Savior’s Birth; Christmas. It has been scrutinized in many ways, but the message is still simple, whether we believe it or not. CHRIST was born of a Virgin, came from Heaven to save the sins of the world. Each year around the beginning of November some people begin to think of this remarkable event, unfortunately not in the way the LORD intended.

The giving season should honor the Savior, reason,  purpose of His birth… yeah there is an extraordinary purpose to this event that took place over 2000 years ago. It was not meant to be an event of commercial glamor or materialized fanfare. There is a simple way for remembering and celebrating this Grand event, how the people observed and welcomed the baby King to the world, and provide it to someone in need of GOD’s Love.

(Luke 2:6-14) 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14

“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.

During this giving season, I had the pleasure of serving for a ministry project, the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child (OCC). What if you could send a shoebox somewhere in the world to a child telling them that JESUS loves them? You can through the OCC ministries. The organization sends a small gift to millions of children who have more than likely never received a gift from anyone. Not only do they receive GOD’s love in a tangible manner, but they also are given information about the true Holy Gospel of CHRIST. The primary goal of the ministry is to introduce kids to CHRIST providing them with a 12-lesson program to learn how to follow CHRIST, eventually telling others about the Savior.

If you would like to get involved in this remarkable ministry in spreading the Good News go to (https://samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/ways-to-volunteer/)

It’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

Paul was so faithful to his calling from the LORD. As he traveled all around the world he always shared his story of the conversion to everyone he encountered. He never deviated from the specifics of what happened, standing on the LORD’s truth. He could have modified the story, fabricated the events, and bragged about how he stood up to CHRIST on the road to Damascus, but he didn’t.

Acts 26:9-18 (9 “I too was convinced that I ought to do all that was possible to oppose the name of Jesus of Nazareth. 10 And that is just what I did in Jerusalem. On the authority of the chief priests I put many of the Lord’s people in prison, and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them. 11 Many a time I went from one synagogue to another to have them punished, and I tried to force them to blaspheme. I was so obsessed with persecuting them that I even hunted them down in foreign cities.

12 “On one of these journeys I was going to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests. 13 About noon, King Agrippa, as I was on the road, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, blazing around me and my companions. 14 We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic,[a] ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’

15 “Then I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’

“ ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ the Lord replied. 16 ‘Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me. 17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them 18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’)

When he accepted JESUS as his personal Savior, he wanted all to know about the sovereignty of the LORD, to encourage the kings, and for leaders to turn away from their sinful lives. Also to embrace the Kingdom of GOD. The people who love GOD never got tired of hearing about the divine conversion. The kings and unbelieving leaders wanted to arrest and kill him to prevent him from instructing the gentiles and jews to follow JESUS CHRIST.

We all have a narrative of how we came to the Kingdom of GOD. Each one has its unique set of events, timelines, earthly circumstances, and influences. The LORD gives all believers a personal testimony and expects us to share it with others to glorify His Kingdom. He doesn’t call us to judge, that is His sole responsibility, only to spread the Good News with Great Joy! What is standing in the way? Share your story with someone today!

To believe the Resurrection is dead is reckless and irresponsible

If you believe that Christ is still in the grave all of the preaching of salvation was done in vain, useless, invalid, no faith. In 1 Corinthians 15:14-15 the Word says (14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised).

The Apostle Paul tells the citizens of Corinth that the final enemy was defeated by death. When Christ died our sins were wiped away and the greatest divine sacrifice was created, the ultimate offering was purchased and freely given to those who accept. The most profound gift Christ gave to humanity is eternal life, HE destroyed death 1Corinthian 15:21-22 (21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive). Paul reminds them not to be misguided by evil minds. The daily bread calls us to use our sound knowledge that has been provided and guided by the Word of GOD, not follow non-believers. He reminds them of the Spirit, being the lead in everything that is great with the LORD.

Paul uses himself as an example explaining to the people why he was deserving of the LORD’s wrath, but knew the LORD’s mercy and grace was upon him. An amazing reward from GOD. As believers we are to remain in the consciousness of GOD’s grace and mercy because we are clearly worthy of condemnation. The way to eternal life remains, and the qualifications are the same. You can’t work for it, you can’t pay for it, you can’t give it to your family members. The only way is the acceptance of Christ who died in our place and was resurrected from the tomb.

As Paul traveled spreading the Gospel he requested the people to keep him in prayer. He traveled at any cost, demonstrating his undying love for the LORD Jesus Christ! Proclaim your undying love for Christ today. This week, challenge yourself to improve your understanding of the way to eternal life. The Resurrection allows us to put off our old sinful self, becoming a new creature in Christ’s Kingdom, the “new” self in Christ!

Remember, one with GOD is the Majority!

Follow the LORD, not man!

Whenever we are excited about doing good for the Kingdom, evil is right there waiting to snatch it from your heart. Walking in the Holy Spirit of GOD is evidence that we belong to HIM. We must recognize and confess that our flesh is feeble and has no sovereignty over GOD, surrender. As long as we stay faithful, nothing can separate us from CHRIST. This week challenge yourself to follow the guidance of the LORD, be led by the Spirit not your flesh and when you experience the LORD’s discipline, accept it with HIS Love and repent in HIS Holy kindness. The LORD has to hold us accountable for every sin we commit. Remember sin never goes unpunished. Humans are like animals, hiding in a dark forest, we may think the LORD can’t see our sin, not true. When we confess with our tongues HE will discipline us with HIS love, forgive us when we request and provide restoration. HE will meet every need through HIS limitless resources. GOD’s Word instructs us to stop thinking like children, be infants in evil, but adults in our thinking, (1Corinthians 14:20), desire to be shown to a higher calling to edify your life as a believer.

Don’t stand on the approval of man. Pleasing the LORD is more important than satisfying people. When we turn our lives over to the Kingdom of GOD we reap the gift; set free from sin, obtain the benefits of salvation and eternal life. Run the race for the LORD and receive an internal crown not a temporary one obtained by the world standards (1Corinthians 9:24-25) 24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

Remember, one with GOD is the Majority!

Imagine if Saul never became Paul, yikes!

Saul was a Jewish young scholar, well read in scripture and brilliant. Although did evil in the LORD’S sight, he was eventually called by the LORD for HIS ultimate glory, a true example of the Roman 8:28. (28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.) Saul, later converted to Apostle Paul came to love the LORD with all his heart, called according to the LORD’S Will. Galatians 2:20 (I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.)

When the LORD has a purpose for HIS glory nothing can interfere with HIS plan. Saul, son of Kish, was a ruthless thug seeking to kill and destroy the LORD’S followers, wreaking havoc all around Tarsus, he took great pleasure in persecuting and jailing Christian. I’m sure he believed his actions were valued by his desire for ultimate power as a king. His murderous actions gained him reverence by those who feared him, but that was not enough when he challenged the Spirit of the LORD. Acts 9:2-6, (Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. 3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

5 “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.

“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. 6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

Following the conversion, the Apostle Paul  never returns to his old life and the rest is history. The New creature in CHIRST spends the rest of his natural life traveling around Asia Minor preaching the true Holy Gospel of Christ. His work for the Kingdom is honorable, yet he never boast about how the LORD uses him. Paul’s letters to the churches and people (Romans, 1 Corinthians 2 Corinthians, Galatians Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy Titus and Philemon), become extraordinary writings of the Gospel.

The LORD can change our evil hearts to glorify HIS Kingdom, choose HIM today!

Remember, one with GOD is the Majority!

Part 2 When in Rome, don’t do like the Romans.

As the LORD prepared the Romans and Jews for the finality of the Jesus’ work on earth it left unbelievers baffled as to why Jesus didn’t come down off the Cross to save Himself. It makes me laugh that humanity falsely thinks they can save themselves (laughter) an impossible, ignorant thought & task. Throughout the Great text, Jesus shows how utterly ridiculous that is with no truth attached. Humans have zero ability to save themselves, not present, past or future. It is comforting to know there will never be a time when humans will have sovereignty over the LORD.

Let’s remember and understand the concluding events that lead up to the ending of Jesus’ time on earth, HE truly did pay the price for All.

Mocked: This violence toward Jesus is the exact opposite of what HE teaches HIS disciples; to serve not to be served. Anything but exceptional reverence and faithfulness is what JESUS wanted from humans, turning their backs on HIM was a feeble mistake.

17 They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him. 18 And they began to call out to him, “Hail, king of the Jews!” 19 Again and again they struck him on the head with a staff and spit on him. Falling on their knees, they paid homage to him. 20 And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.

Crucified/ Death: Jesus’ divine presences had such an impact on what was going on around HIM as they prepared to kill HIM, ridiculing the KING, yet they call HIM KING of THE JEWS, of course HE was! They made stupid comments like come down off the cross and save your self, or let your GOD come down and save you.  But not everyone was willing to disrespect Jesus, one of the criminals hanging next to HIM, had sense enough to beg for mercy.

Luke 23:40—43 (But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[a]”

43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”)

No one had control/ power over HIS death, this all happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled.

Burial/Tomb: On preparation day Jesus’ allies requested the release of HIS body from Pilate and began to present Him to the tomb John 19:41-42 (41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid. 42 Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.

Once HE was laid to rest in the tomb something profoundly divine happened and this is where it comes full circle, HIS body was resurrected, the prophesy was fulfilled. It’s not that people don’t believe that Jesus Christ was born , traveled the earth, performed miracles, etc. Yes, HE did all of those things and MORE. Where it goes terribly wrong for Jewish people and unbelievers, they don’t believe that HE arose on the 3rd day, Blasphemy!  They will go all the way to the grave with CHRIST, but the buck stops there. Matt 27:63-64 ( 63 “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’ 64 So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first.”)

Resurrection: HE is alive and well! All facets of Jesus’ life are remarkable, the most profound and complete is the Resurrection. There will never be anything like it again in existence, the promise is the same yesterday, today and forever,  HE will be back riding on a cloud. Be ready!

Great Commission: Finally, Jesus instructed the disciples to go out and preach the true Holy Gospel, make disciples of all nations. Matt 28:19-20 (19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”)

Here is the Good News, the Great Messiah is alive and well. HE was taken into the Heavens and sits at the right hand of the Father. Because HE lives we can experience the internal Kingdom created only for HIS people, the choice is yours, choose Him today.
